As the season shifts and routines settle, this newsletter is here to help you navigate the transition with wellness tips, comforting recipes, and course offerings.


Important Updates

  • Update Your Files: Please update your client files by October 1, 2024. Log into your account and click on the link under "Assigned Work" to update your information.
  • Service Agreement: Remember to review our current scheduling and fee policies, available in your online dashboard.
  • Charlena’s New Fall Schedule (UK time):
    • Monday - Thursday: Sessions at 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm.
    • Friday & Saturday: Sessions from 8am to 1pm (on the hour).
      Sessions outside these times are considered emergency sessions and may incur additional fees.

Kyle’s Mindfulness Tip: Morning Light Meditation

Start your day with this simple 5-minute mindfulness practice to absorb natural light and calm your mind:

  1. Find a quiet space: By a window or outdoors to expose yourself to natural light.
  2. Deep breathing: Take slow, deep breaths, focusing on each inhale and exhale.
  3. Absorb the light: Let the light energize and ground you.
  4. Set an intention: Choose a positive focus for the day, like calm or focus.
  5. Carry this peace with you: As you begin your daily activities.

This practice helps regulate mood and energy during the darker fall mornings.


Jennifer’s Comforting Recipe: Roasted Pumpkin and Quinoa Salad

Warm up this fall with a comforting, nutritious meal featuring seasonal ingredients like pumpkin and quinoa. This salad is easy to prepare and perfect for boosting both energy and mood.

Ingredients:

  • 1 small pumpkin, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup quinoa, rinsed
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • Olive oil, spices, and mixed greens
  • Optional: Cranberries, pomegranate seeds, and toasted pumpkin seeds

Instructions:

  1. Roast the pumpkin: Toss in olive oil and roast with spices.
  2. Cook the quinoa: Simmer in vegetable broth.
  3. Assemble: Combine roasted pumpkin, quinoa, and greens. Add cranberries and pumpkin seeds for extra flavor.
