The Focused Change Intensive is a 1.5 to 2-hour extended session designed to work in depth on one specific issue within a single, structured appointment. Unlike ongoing weekly or fortnightly sessions, which support change over time, this format allows for a more concentrated focus on a particular area that requires clarity, direction, and immediate attention.
This session is not about covering multiple areas or providing general support. It is designed to identify what is happening within a specific pattern, understand what is maintaining it, and establish a clear, practical way forward.
The Focused Change Intensive may be used by clients who:
- want to address a specific issue in a more concentrated format
- feel stuck in a particular pattern and want targeted input
- prefer a single, extended session rather than shorter, ongoing sessions
- are preparing to begin ongoing work and want initial clarity
These sessions are direct, integrative, and outcome-focused. Where appropriate, the work may draw on a range of approaches the practitioner is qualified to practise, depending on the client’s needs and the nature of the issue. The focus is on clarity, direction, and applied change—not extended exploration.
This format can be used as a standalone session or alongside ongoing weekly or fortnightly work, depending on the client’s needs.
