Bark Welcome

Welcome!

It takes a lot to reach out for help, so well done on your effort to start living your best self.  Here at Solymar Online Therapy, we realise that you have a lot of questions about the logistics of our services. Here you can find the frequently asked questions.

To book a FREE 15 min discovery call to discuss your circumstances, fill in the form below and one of our practitioners will call you at your chosen date/time.

How much are sessions?

Private practice therapists and mental health coaching fees can range from £50-£200. Session fees are set by the individual practitioner and are based on various factors such as qualifications, delivery of service, location etc.

Solymar Online Therapy structures their fees differently. Here we assume that all people contacting us are in a situation of urgency in wanting to get moving on making change. Thus, we have the fee structure below:

Individual Sessions
Weekly: £55/Session
Fortnightly: £65/Session
Monthly: £80/session

Couples Sessions
Weekly: £90/session
Fortnightly: £105/session
Monthly: £120/session

What does our session fee include?

Session fees are based on 45 mins sessions. They include any worksheets your practitioner will ask you to complete. Clients who are seeing their practitioner weekly or fortnightly are able to access group mindfulness classes with our mindfulness specialist. This is a courtesy service.

Who are we?

Solymar Online Therapy is a group of practitioners which work with clients globally. All of our practitioners have many years experience and belong to associations which govern their specialties.

How do our practitioners differ from others?

Our practitioners are private service oriented and approach their clients as “whole” individuals who are looking to make change. We DO NOT view our clients as “broken” or “damaged”. We strive to keep sessions individualised based on our clients’ goals and needs from session to session.

How does confidentiality work within Solymar Online Therapy?

Solymar Online Therapy takes confidentiality very seriously. All things remain confidential except where law says differently. Even within our group, we have a confidentiality policy to protect our families using our services. Except under court order, or written consent from clients, we do NOT provide information to outside agencies, organisations, charities or employers.

Do we accept insurance?

We have chosen to not accept insurance as it is our opinion that placing restrictions on our services to our clients prohibits the natural progression of sessions and places added stress onto our clients. This opinion has developed through our experiences and is just that "our" opinion.

How do sessions occur?

All our practitioners see our clients online only, using our video platform. As a client, you have the option of either keeping your camera on or off.

Payment and Fee Policy

Payments are made either through direct deposit to our bank account or through a stripe link.

Missed and cancelled sessions (even with notice) are payable in full*.

Missed and cancelled sessions must be paid in full in order to schedule your next session

Clients who miss 2 consecutive sessions in a row without consulting their practitioner first, will automatically be discharged from our care and the vacancy will be offered to a client waiting to start their journey.

If you wish to discontinue sessions, clients must provide 2 weeks notice and are required to make payment on the sessions whether they plan to attend the sessions or not.

How do I get started?

The first step is to book a discovery call with Charlena. During this call, she will gather some information from you to see which practitioner best suits your goals for sessions. She will then walk you through the process on how to complete your intake forms, schedule your session with your practitioner, and collect payment.

Our services

In addition to the usual concerns of depression/anxiety and emotional dysregulation, our practitioners have niches. We address concerns such as gender and identity, neuro diversities, ADHD, families and teens, women's nutritional needs, eating disorders and general wellness.

What interventions are used to help our clients?

Solymar Online Therapy practitioners work with our clients using a pluralistic approach. This means, we can sometimes use only one school of thought or choose to combine 2 or more schools of thoughts together. Our first and foremost priority is helping our clients reach their full potential.

Is there a wait time to receive services?

No, there is no wait time to receive services. In fact most clients will be offered a session time within 48 hrs of contacting us for services.
