What Is Yoga
Yoga is an ancient Asian practice, it is a combination of physical exercise, breath control, positive thinking, and meditation. Yoga is an incredibly effective form of fitness that is suitable for all ages and abilities and especially great for those who require low-impact or progressive forms of fitness.
Yoga has long been known to improve:

While there are many forms of yoga, here are some of the ones our clients love and enjoy.
Hatha Yoga
Finding the right yoga class can be intimidating and confusing. In this class we will be focused on alignment, helping you gain confidence in your poses. You will do approximately 15 to 20 poses in this class. You will discover that your breath control (Pranayama) can ease your mind, and help you get more connected with your poses (Asana).
Gentle Stretch
With a gentler, more meditative style of yoga, this style of class offers a deep stretch, holding the poses in a comfortable position for longer periods of time. It’s a good class for letting go of things that might be holding you back, creating space for new things, and gently waking the muscles.
Restorative Yoga
Restorative yoga is a very important part of a yogis practice, it focuses on fewer poses than Hatha, a deeper meditative state to help relieve stress on the body by using props such as pillows, blankets, belts, yoga blocks/ books and you do not even have to break a sweat doing it.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
In Western countries, yoga has been modernized as people wanted a more vigorous workout and this form of yoga helps meet that goal. Using a continuous flowing movement from one pose to the next, you can easily work up a sweat, burn calories, build strength, and tone your muscles in a low-impact, smooth workout that doesn’t raise cortisol levels or require a large workout space.
Nutrition
Nutrition is a huge part of our lives, even if it’s an unconscious one. I learned this when I started having health issues that impacted my energy, my sleep, my weight, and my ability to enjoy life. I was dealing with hormonal imbalances, immune dysfunction, and I was left feeling powerless and trapped in my unhealthy body.
Through the power of good food and some changes to my lifestyle, I was able to feel younger, lose weight that I had been gaining, restore my energy levels, and reclaim my life.
Through this personal journey, I discovered the healing powers of whole foods and a passion for helping others experience the same was borne from within.
One of the biggest takeaways from my journey was the need for simplicity. There are so many diets and fads out there, but when it comes to managing health conditions, improving your energy, and feeling great in your body, it really does have to be simple. And it has to be sustainable.
Over the past 5 years, as a practicing Advanced Holistic Nutritionist, “One Bite at a Time” has become my coaching motto. It’s literally how I've been able to overcome my crippling health & hormone challenges that impacted the quality of my life for so long.
It’s also how I coach my clients into taking micro-commitments everyday that help create a brand new lifestyle for them for life-long success.
